Is the event being rescheduled or postponed?
While the Spring Fundraiser is a vital source of revenue for Capitol Hill Day School, we have decided not to reschedule the Boots & Barbecue Spring Fundraiser for 2020. We are grateful to Hill Country Barbecue for allowing us to reschedule for Spring 2021. We'll share more details about next year's event soon.
Will there still be mobile bidding?
Given the fluid situation, we have opted not to offer mobile bidding or hold any kind of virtual event this year. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our donors, who are also our neighbors and friends. We will be reaching out to all of our supporters directly to discuss their donation and how it can still be used to support Capitol Hill Day School in the future.
I purchased tickets to the event. Will I get refunded?
For those who purchased tickets to the event, the cost of your ticket will be converted into a tax-deductible donation in support of Capitol Hill Day School’s financial aid program. While we are happy to honor any requests for refunds, we sincerely hope that you will consider donating your ticket in support of financial aid, an area in the budget that is more important now than ever. To request a refund, please contact Shannon Ryan directly at sryan@chds.org.
As you can imagine, the need for financial aid is crucial.
